Merry Christmas From Me to You!

Well this is it.
We leave for Thailand TOMORROW!

Eeeeeek.
I am so excited.

Not only to travel to a new place that I've been dreaming about.
But also to spend some quality time with my husband.
Between work/travel/life, sometimes days and weeks are just a blur.
Cam is my best friend and I'm so happy we're getting to go on this adventure together.
I'm also really looking forward to having this extended time off from work.
Honestly, is there any better feeling than putting up your out of office for vacation? Nope.
I am really looking forward to doing that later today and shutting down my computer until next year!
(Don't get me wrong, I really love my job but I am just ready for a little break!)
We still have some last-minute packing to do, but for the most part, we are ready to go!

But before I leave, I wanted to share our Christmas card for this year with all of you!
Sending out cards is one of my absolute favorite holiday traditions.
(Which is why I'm linking up with Kelly's Korner today for her Holiday Traditions Link-Up, just FYI!)
If I could, I'd send a card to each and every one of you - but for now this blog version will have to do!

We chose this design from Minted and I can't say enough about the amazing quality of their cards!
As for the photo, you may remember it from this hike we did near Mt. Hood back in October.
I originally wanted to have photos taken specifically for our Christmas card of Cam, Lola, and I all in coordinated-but-not matching plaid, Portland-y ensembles. Something "blogger-y" if you will.
But since that idea went over like a lead balloon with Cam we've been pretty busy this fall, we decided to use the hiking picture instead and I really loved the way our finished card turned out.

Other years I have put additional photos/a short letter on the back of our card, but I opted not to do that and just go with this cute polka dot design instead. I figured between my Facebook, my Instagram, and this blog that the majority of family, friends, and acquaintances in our life know what's going on with us most of the time and that writing a letter would kind of be beating a dead horse.
Plus, going sans letter made ordering the cards much easier :)

I also ordered these wrap around address labels as well (just like I did last year) and I really love them! I think they add a fun little something extra to the envelope. I also took advantage of the fact that Minted will print addresses on your envelopes for free, and man, is that a timesaver! Yay Minted!

So there you have it, our 2013 card, signed, sealed, delivered! :)

From here on out, things are going to be pretty quiet on the blog for the rest of the year.

If you want to keep up with us in Thailand, be sure to follow me on Instagram! (@inthepinkandgreen)
I'm not sure what the wi-fi situation will be like over there, but I'm hoping to share photos when I can!

I opted not to do any guest posts or worry about scheduling a bunch of posts during our trip as I figured most people are (hopefully) going to be off their computers/phones and spending time with friends/family. However, I do have a couple of scheduled posts sprinkled between now and the new year though, so check back the last week of December for those if you're interested! :)

Finally, I just want to say thank you to everyone who takes the time to read this blog.
It means so much to me that you care about what's going on in our life. Truly. it does.
I'm really grateful for all the people that this blog has allowed me to connect with this year.
And although I'm terrible about replying to comments, I do read and appreciate every single one :)
I wish all of you the most blessed Christmas and a happy, healthy new year!

PS:  A very happy birthday to my wondeful mother-in-law today!
She reads my blog regularly and so I wanted to make sure to give her a shout-out! :)
