The End of Wedding Season 2013

Happy Friday everyone!

We've been having really hot weather in Portland this week, and it still feels like summer here! We've also been back from Michigan for almost a week now, so I figure it's time to share some photos!

This summer has definitely been a busy one with weddings! I had four close girlfriends tie the knot, and I was so happy that I could be at each one. My friend Katie's wedding took place in Michigan over Labor Day weekend, and it was the fourth and final wedding of summer 2013 for us. This wedding was particularly exciting for me because Katie asked me to be one of her bridesmaids!

Friday night was the wedding rehearsal at the church in Lake Orion, Michigan (which is where Katie and I are from). Cam couldn't resist playing paparazzi #bloggerhusbandproblems

Saturday morning, we met at the hair salon bright and early!

I loved how my hairstylist did my updo!

Katie got everyone monogrammed shirts that were so cute :)

After finishing up hair, we headed to the church to get the big day started!

Katie's bouquet--so pretty!
I loved the hanger for her dress!
Also, slightly jealous of her new last name--they are going to have the best Christmas cards ever, ha.

Katie and Josh had such a beautiful ceremony!

Katie and Josh got married on my parents' anniversary, and they came to the wedding :)
Had to get a picture of the hair--it stayed in so well the whole day!
After the ceremony, the bridal party jumped in the party bus for quite the afternoon...

Katie and Josh actually met at this local sports bar, and so the bridal party went there after the ceremony for some pictures, snacks, and drinks!
I can still remember meeting Josh for the first time a few weeks after he and Katie started dating, and I just had a feeling that this was it for them.

Katie is such a great friend; she is so sweet, kind, easygoing, fun, and one of those naturally beautiful people that doesn't need makeup (seriously, I'm super jeal of her great skin). Right from the beginning, it was clear that Josh was crazy about Katie, and I've really enjoyed getting to know him these past few years. He is so much fun to be around, and together they make such a great couple. I am so glad I could be there to see them say 'I do' because they really are perfect for each other!
(Sorry to be sappy, I'm just so happy for them!)
After drinks at the Tavern, we went to take bridal party photos...yeah. Ha.
(Josh, I snagged these from your Instagram!)
I had so much fun spending the day with my bestie, Ryanne :)
After photos, it was time for the reception!

Katie and Josh's reception was held outside in a beautiful tent by a lake in Oakland County, MI

Such a gorgeous night!

End of the night...

I am so happy for Katie and Josh and had a blast at their wedding!

Have a great weekend everyone! Xoxo
