Happy Friday everyone!
What better way to start your weekend off than some silly pictures of Lola, right?
Her face in that middle picture just kills me.
Anyway, having the holiday Monday really threw me for a loop this week and I've just been super out of it the past few days. Work has been crazy, the house is a bit of a disaster seeing as we haven't had a lot of time to unpack/clean since didn't get home from NYC until like 2am Monday and have been busy ever since, and then with the time change/lack of sleep I am SO ready for the weekend. I'm excited we're going to be here in Tahoe, so I'm looking forward to relaxing, enjoying the beautiful weather, and getting life back in order before next week. (Oh, and my NYC recap will be up on Monday...because I know you were all waiting with baited breath for that...)
I also wanted to tell you about a fun link-up that I'm going to be hosting this weekend here on the blog! If you've read my blog for awhile, you know that my trusty crock pot is one of my favorite ways to prepare meals, especially in the fall and winter months. There's nothing cozier than coming home after a long day to a hot meal...or if you work from home like I do, sitting in your Snuggie and smelling food cook all day while you work. (I'm being dead serious about the Snuggie, just fyi) That's why I was thrilled when Jessica from Dreaming of Dimples asked me to co-host a blog link-up focusing on slow-cooker recipes! I had the chance to meet Jessica at the Blogger Meetup I attended earlier this summer and she is such a sweetheart! (She even gave us all cute little eyemasks with tags for her blog URL since it's called "Dreaming of Dimples"...so cute!) We are going to be co-hosting the link-up along with Andrea from left brain, right brain, pug brain and I'm really excited about it! The link-up will happen on the second Sunday of each month from now until March and it's a perfect way to discover some new blogs, along with some yummy crock-pot dishes! Plus, both Andrea and Jessica eat a more vegan/vegetarian diet while I'm pretty much on the opposite end of the spectrum with Paleo, so there should be a nice variety of recipes to choose from.
Be sure to come back here Sunday to grab the button and link-up with us!
Have a great weekend everyone! Xoxo
